Corruption in India India and corruption : India is a country with enormous resources quite capable of developing itself as the most developed and prosperous nation in the world. But it is also the sixth most corrupt nation in the world. Corruption actually comes from the word 'Corrupt' meaning dishonest or immoral. I think it would be better if we change the word 'corruption' into 'Correction'? If this is done, then our country may emerge as a superpower. Corruption is rampant in each and every section of society. Today at least for India corruption is the password, and often heard the subject of discussions and conversations on all kinds of forums and platforms. Under the table or not? Why Corruption and India go hand in hand? But the question arises: Why is there so much corruption in India and not so much in other developing countries?
